Halloween, some hate it some love it. Personally I love pumpkins. I get my hands on as many as I can and get to carving.
The Tools are Cheap and the Choice is Plentiful
What tool do you go for? lots of people say the best pumpkins need the best tools. But this broke graduate has other opinions.
A £3 set of a carving stuff from ASDA is all you need and thats just for the serrated knife. The only thing needed that you may not have.
You will need:
- The serrated knife.
- A bin bag (for the insides).
- An Ice cream scoop.
After You Have That, Get to Work!
Look at your pumpkin and work out what you want on it. Then find a pic of a similar design and draw it on the pumpkin. Following that "Just cut away the wood that doesn't look like an elephant."
Pumpkins for Days
My Twitter Explosion
In 2017 I posted on my twitter about how I wish I could have made pumpkins that year but could't afford any, with a pic of a weekends work from the year before.
Little did I know that it would become the most liked post I have ever had and get talked about on #WhatsHappening, a very popular YouTube channel.
I posted this at 5 in the morning on national pumpkin day to try and get the best results, however I got more than I bargained for.
This is the closest I have been to fame (other than when I was 9 and stared in a film with Edward Woodward, the priest in HotFuzz).
